Good to know
Power cuts
Power cuts are common in The Gambia. Lights, fans and Wi-Fi keep running on the inverter; air conditioning and the fridge only run on mains power.
Electricity
A basic amount of electricity is included. Extra use, mainly from air conditioning, is charged separately.
Arrival
Check-in from 5 pm, check-out by 1 pm, personal welcome by our house manager. Please send your arrival time on WhatsApp at least 24 hours ahead and bring a passport or ID card for each adult. Non-smoking indoors, no parties without prior agreement.
Monkeys
Monkeys sometimes visit the garden. Please don't feed them, don't leave food or bags outside, and keep doors and windows closed when you're out.
